Carolina, in what must be the biggest upset in college football this year beat the Miami Hurricanes 31-28 in Chapel Hill Saturday night. It was the first time in UNC's school history that it beat a top 5 team in football.
The pressure was on Conner Barth, Carolina's freshman kicker who with 4 seconds left kicked a 42 yard field goal, the biggest field goal since Michael Jordan (a freshman at the time) scored the game winning basket against the Georgetown Hoyas in the 1982 NCAA College Basketball finals.
And like every good upset the fans rushed the field and leveled the goal posts. I bet Franklin Street is still buzzing this morning.
