The more I read about AT&T and Apple's iPhone the more I believe that AT&T sold there soul to have it. It is astonishing the control Apple has in terms of distribution, activations, etc.
Overall the phone is great with the only downfall being the keyboard. Don't get me wrong it works well, but no where as well as my BlackBerry. If it only had autotext similar to the BlackBerry.

Typing is about the same, but having other issues such as the battery
is slow to charge and will not charge in the dock plugged into a wall
outlet. It will charge plugged into my Powerbook, however. I was
finally able to have of fully charge last evening after turning off
the WIFI.
The other issue is with the proximity sensor not working in Safari all
of the time.
Still a sweet device.
I was going to send a picture, but I forgot that you cannot copy and
paste...arrgh!
Days 1&2:
Test typing on an Apple iPhone. Not bad, finally can use both thumbs.
I make alot of mistakes, but the are corrected 95% of the time. Sorely
miss the Blackberry auto text. I keep hitting the spacebar twice to
enter a period.
Day 3:
It is really not as bad as I thought it would be, and checks and
corrects spelling very well. It will never replace my Blackberry. I am
having trouble with double tapping to enter a period. And of course u
for you, r for are, etc.
Day 4:
This thing really needs copy and paste. I am getting much quicker if I
do not back up and correct my mistakes.
The Atlanta Braves had the momentum going into last night's game 5 after a come from behind victory in Houston. But Houston hammered the Braves 12-3 and won their first playoff series in team history.
Apple's iPod now has a leading 82% share 92% of the US mp3 market. And it could grow even more if they release the that rumored “video” edition.
